These terms govern your use of Desmoche (the "app," "we," "us"), operated by Hnry Labs LLC. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Eligibility

Desmoche is intended for players who are at least 18 years old. By using Desmoche, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

Desmoche creates an anonymous guest account automatically the first time you open the app — no sign-up is required. You may optionally link a Google account so your account carries over to a new device. You're responsible for whatever activity happens under your account, including anything that happens if you share access to your device or your linked account with someone else.

You may delete your account data at any time from Settings → Delete My Data. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what that does and doesn't remove.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use bots, scripts, or automation to play on your behalf, or interact with the app outside its intended interfaces
Exploit bugs or unintended behavior for advantage rather than reporting them
Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
Attempt to disrupt the service (e.g., overwhelming it with traffic, attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts or infrastructure)
Use the app for any purpose prohibited by applicable law

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms, at our discretion.

4. Points and virtual items have no real-world value

Desmoche keeps score using in-game points, including a per-hand stake transferred from a losing player to the winner. These points have no cash value. They cannot be purchased with real money, cannot be redeemed or cashed out for real money or any other item of value, and cannot be sold, traded, or transferred outside the game. Desmoche is not real-money gambling, and there is currently no way to purchase anything in the app.

Because points have no cash value, we're not liable for any loss of points or in-game standing, however it occurs (including a bug, a disconnect, or another player's conduct).

5. Content and conduct of other players

Desmoche is a multiplayer game — you'll interact with other players' display names and in-game actions. We don't pre-screen display names or in-game conduct. If you encounter abusive behavior, contact us at contact@hnry.us.

6. No warranty

Desmoche is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be available at all times, free of bugs, or free of interruptions. As a small, independently operated project, we make no commitment to any particular level of uptime, support response time, or feature roadmap.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Desmoche, including loss of data, loss of in-game points or standing, or interruption of service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Desmoche is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months — which, since Desmoche currently charges nothing, is zero.

8. Changes to the app or these terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Desmoche at any time. We may also update these terms as the app changes; material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Desmoche after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using Desmoche at any time, and delete your account data via Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these terms or for any other reason, at our discretion.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
